Solutions 2.1.1 through 2.2.1 part 1 are now available. Please review them and come to me with questions (or post your questions in comments).
The last component of ch1 solutions. Note that closure problems have answers posted in the book. They also post which problems are like them from the hw. So if you can't figure one out, go back to my solutions for the relevant problems. As always feel free to come to ELT, lunch, after school for help. I will also answer questions posted in the comments.
Please use the link to access and review these solutions prior to your individual test. The Math 3 quiz was slighty different from the Math 3+ quiz. If these solutions are insufficient, please ask me for clarification at ELT, after school, or in this comment section.Note that two solutions got cut off by the scan. For problem #7, my explanation concludes "the higher numerator is the bigger fraction." For problem # 5, my explanation concludes "Divide the new mileage (754) by this to get gallons needed (29)."
